Most operational consultants advise from the outside. I've spent 15+ years working from the inside, running service desks, implementing PSA tools, managing teams, and cleaning up the operational mess that builds up when businesses grow faster than their processes.

Before founding Process Ops, I was embedded inside an MSP in a senior operational role. That experience is why my approach is different: I know what the problems look like from the inside, and I know what it actually takes to fix them.

Process Ops was built because I kept seeing the same patterns: good teams, decent tools, and operations that just didn't work properly. The fix was always the same, clear processes, properly implemented, with someone who understands how to make them stick.

What I believe about operations.

The problem is usually the system — not the people

Most teams are doing their best inside a structure that makes their job harder than it needs to be. Fix the system and the people perform. Putting pressure on individuals without fixing the environment doesn't work, and it shouldn't.

Implementation — the only thing that matters

A documented process that no one follows is worthless. Everything I build gets implemented into real tools and real behaviour, not left as a PDF in a folder somewhere. If it's not working in practice, we fix it until it does.

Simplicity scales. Complexity doesn't.

Complex processes fail. Not because people are incapable, but because complexity creates friction, and friction creates workarounds. Simple, clear, repeatable processes scale. Every time.

I'm not interested in looking busy. I'm interested in the business running better at the end of an engagement than it did at the start. That's the only metric that matters.
